A call script gives agents a shared structure for one type of call, such as a sales pitch, an appointment reminder or a support check. A good script is a guide, not a text to read word for word: it sets the order of the conversation and the facts to collect, and leaves the agent free to sound like themselves.
What most scripts contain:
- Opening: who is calling, from which company and why, in one or two sentences.
- Qualifying questions: the information the call must collect, such as needs, budget or contract dates.
- Objection handling: prepared answers to the usual pushbacks, such as price or timing.
- Close: the next step (an appointment, a quote, a callback) and the outcome to record.
Branching scripts change the next step according to the contact's answer, so one script can cover several paths. Saving answers in fields rather than in free notes makes them usable in reports and follow-ups. Scripts are also the place for compliance wording, such as telling the person that the call is recorded.
In OVOKY, each campaign can have its own call script. Scripts branch on each answer and save what the agent enters to the contact record, and an AI builder drafts a first version from your offer.
